Paul Russo established NYPD Pizza Restaurants out of the desire to have authentic New York style pizza in Orlando, Florida where he relocated from New York City. Mr. Russo was born in Bayside, Queens, and has traveled the world before settling down in Orlando, Florida. He realized that not only did Orlando, Florida lack an authentic New York style pizzeria but the rest of the world did as well. Mr. Russo established his first NYPD Pizza restaurant in Orlando, Florida in 1996 and NYPD Pizza is now an Orlando landmark recognized for the incredible New York style pizza, New York slices, Italian fare, upbeat atmosphere and great neighborhood feeling of those years gone by. The NYPD Pizza restaurants are themed with great admiration for the police forces worldwide, memorabilia of New York and its rich history.

NYPD Restaurants decided to share their pie with the rest of the world and started franchising the NYPD Pizza restaurant concepts in 2004. With the incredible response to the NYPD Pizza franchise over the past few years, Sub Stations, Metro Units, and Precincts can now be found across the nation and internationally in the near future.

All pizzas are hand-tossed with our freshly prepared unique dough. Our specially spiced homemade tomato sauce is then spread evenly over our hand tossed dough and topped with freshly grated mozzarella cheese. It is then finished with fresh toppings and baked to perfection in our unique brick oven. The Sub Station is approximately 1200 to 1400 square feet in size and has minimum seating. The Sub Station franchise is excellent for high
traffic locations such as malls, downtown business districts, colleges and universities, stadiums and airports. The menu offers all the popular NYPD Pizza favorite pies, calzones, salads, appetizers and desserts. The franchise offers a lower investment and lower operating costs for those individuals who want one unit or multiples.

NYPD Pizza Metro Unit:
The NYPD Pizza Metro Unit franchise is a smaller size full service restaurant for those individuals that want to sit down, relax, enjoy the ambiance, and have a glass of wine or beer with an incredible Italian fare. The Metro Unit franchise is approximately 1700 to 2000 square feet in size and can seat up to approximately 50 customers. The METRO UNIT is excellent for high traffic locations such as malls, downtown business districts, colleges and universities and airports. The incredibly delicious Italian menu offers a variety of appetizers, salads, hero sandwiches, pizzas, pastas dishes, Italian entrees, daily specials and desserts. The franchise offers a lower investment and lower operating costs for those individuals who want one or multiples units.

NYPD Pizza Precinct:
The NYPD Pizza PRECINCT franchise is a full service restaurant for those individuals that want to sit down, relax, enjoy the ambiance, and have a glass of wine or beer and an incredible Italian fare. The Precinct franchise is the local pizzeria of days-gone-by, where repeat customers become a part of the NYPD Pizza family. The incredibly delicious Italian menu offers a variety of appetizers, salads, hero sandwiches, pizzas, pastas dishes, entrees, daily specials and desserts. The PRECINCT is typically 2,200 to 3,500 square feet and seats approximately 80 to 120 customers. In the Precinct, you may have either a full bar area or game room. This franchise is located in high traffic locations such as malls, strip shopping centers, downtown business districts and may be a free standing building.
